I remember when growing up my mother hanging clothes up to dry, We did not have a clothes dryer when I was very young. Clothes had a real fresh smell (not the canned, artificial one of today). In Italy most people still dry their clothes by hanging them up outside. In all the cities and villages all you have to do is look up and there they are..."blowin' in the wind". I see them as "Flags for Living". |

The pictures used in this flash animation were taken in Campiglia Marittima, a wonderful village in southern Tuscany. A few miles from the Gulf of Baratti on a hill overlooking the surrounding area. There is always a fresh breeze, even on the hottest days. A wonderful place to relax and paint. |
