Like medium-size American cities Florence has a transportation system. Unlike most American cities the bus is used by people for commuting to and from work. They keep seats to a minimum in order to fit more people on the bus during the rush hours before and after work. Also like American cities these buses take on an almost sur-real character after dark. Join me for a ride in the evening on the #6 bus, the bus that runs between my home and the center of the Florence. close window |
