The Commonwealth Florence War Cemetery is located outside Florence on the north bank of the Arno River It is small, quiet and beautiful. You can actually hear the birds while the traffic passes on the road outside the cemetery gates. Enjoy the quiet and the beautiful view as you look all around the cemetery. This cemetery is the burial place for 1,637 Commonwealth soldiers.
